What Can Music Move You To Do?

Music can be very inspirational. There are songs that move you to dance, sing, cry, and even love. The artists who sing these songs become personal messengers delivering these words to us that bring out all different kinds of emotions. Israel Housgton is one of these artists. However, his message is one to a less secular tune.

I take you to Houston Texas, 1989, Israel Haugton is in the church developing his craft and praising the Lord. Just as music inspires and influences everyone else Israel has been touched by a “crazy hodge podge of music that has shaped [his] style”; with some of the artists being “Stevie Wonder, all of Motown, and the beetles”.

After ten years of working on his solo career Israel branched out, forming the gospel group “Israel a New Breed”. Since its creation the group has recorded 5 live records one of which went gold. The newest record “A Deeper Level” will be out September 4th.     

Even though he has been able to land a record deal with Sony Israel has not changed from his original calling; spreading the message of God’s love and saving grace. He could have drifted towards anything but he chose to do “ministry focused and inspire people”.
